Who owns the domain?
When you purchase a domain through Pettifer Works, you are the registered owner. Your name and contact details are submitted to the domain registry as the legal registrant on the public registration record.
Who manages the domain?
The domain is registered and maintained in Pettifer Works's registrar account. We handle technical management including domain name settings (when your site is live), renewals, and registrar settings. You do not need a separate registrar account with us.
Transfer to another provider
You may request a transfer to another registrar at any time from your account area. We will provide an authorisation (EPP) code and unlock the domain where required. Transfer fees from the receiving registrar may apply.
Renewals and auto-renewal
Domains must be renewed before they expire. You can enable auto-renewal in your account — we charge your saved payment method annually at the then-current renewal price. If auto-renewal is off, we send reminder emails before expiry; you are responsible for renewing in time to avoid losing the domain.
Pricing
Registration and renewal prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout. Multi-year registration covers the stated period upfront. Renewal prices may differ from first-year promotional pricing.
